Back to topJoin us for Children's Story Time with Ellie Peterson!
Our very first Children's Story Time is with Ellie Peterson!
We will open the shop a bit early [at 9:30am] for this special event!
Join in the fun with Ellie Peterson, children’s author and illustrator of “How to Hug a Pufferfish” and many other picture books. She aims to create books that “amuse, intrigue, and inspire children of all ages,” according to her website, so come anticipating a morning of inspiration! Parents are expected accompany their children for the duration of the 30 minute presentation, which will include some fun hands-on activities.
From her website:
I'm a picture book author and illustrator living in the Seattle area. My work is inspired by the countless interactions I've had with kids after 20 wonderful years as a classroom teacher and my experience growing up as a biracial army brat. My goal is to make books that amuse, intrigue, and inspire children of all ages.
I'm the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion coordinator for the Western Washington chapter of SCBWI, The Global Community for Children's Book Creators; and a member of The Broadstrokes, an all-female illustration critique group.
Find her in all of the places!
Her very own website is here.
