Flannery O'Connor Award Winning Author Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrum

Join us Saturday afternoon, November 17, to welcome back author Kirsten Lunstrum with her new collection of stories, "What We Do with the Wreckage," winner of the Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction.
The stories in this new collection are about finding resilience in the face of adversity. Following losses big and small, environmental and familial, universal and personal, the best of us try to recover and rebuild. The characters in her stories are learning to reconstruct themselves, their families, and their futures from the wreckage of their broken pasts.
Coming in paperback October 15, 2018.
Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrum is the author of two previous collections of short fiction. Her fiction and essays have appeared widely in journals, and collections including "This Is the Place: Women Writing about Home." She is also the recipient of a PEN/O. Henry Prize and teaches high school English near Seattle, Washington.
