Congratulations to Ada Limon: the new US Poet Laureate!

Ada Limón was just appointed the United States Poet Laureate!
Born on March 28, 1976, she is originally from Sonoma, California. She is the author  of a few collections including "The Hurting Kind;" "The Carrying;" and "Bright Dead Things" which was a finalist for the National Book Award.

July 12, 2022 • Ada Limón was named as the nation's 24th poet laureate by the Library of Congress. She will take over from Joy Harjo, who has held the position since 2019. The announcement on npr here.
