10/7/2021: Nobel Prize in Literature: Abdulrazak Gurnah

 


The Nobel Prize in Literature 2021 was awarded to Abdulrazak Gurnah, a U.K.-based Tanzanian writer, whose experience of crossing continents and cultures has fed his novels about the impact of migration on individuals and societies, "for his uncompromising and compassionate penetration of the effects of colonialism and the fate of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents."
